Resurrection Fruit

After soaking rains and whipping wind, on branches straining to be strong,

A pomegranate bloom drips promise.

As pregnant vermilion swells into radiant fruit

Each embryonic aril  speaks100_24761 resurrection of the seed that died when this new tree sprouted.

  1. Thanks for your shared gifts.
Joe, thanks for the capturing of a moment mixed with the fruit of light and water.
Mary Ann, thanks for capturing the words that allow that moment to speak to us. We can be amazed with the beauty of botany, but you have brought us the gift of the beauty of faith.
