Mary Ann, I was on your other blog but could not leave you a message there. So sorry to hear what you and your family are going through with your husband’s eyesight. My prayers are with you all. In regards to this post, I don’t think you would have a reason to know it but I grew up in Richmond, Texas. I lived on Hughes Rd. (my maiden name) which is off Pitts Rd. I have not been back since my parents passed away about five years ago.

I believe you mentioned that you grew up in Richmond. The house we bought with our youngest son and his family is north of the area you mention, off 359 and Holmes Rd. and I have a good friend who lives off Pitts Rd. We were spoiled with an uncommonly cool Spring and suddenly we are having weather in the upper 90’s! Both my garden and I are wilting!
